MyKind Autism Services sponsors a local Parent and Carers Group.
Geelong Carers Connect is run by parents for parents in the greater Geelong region.
Parents and full-time carers of children with additional needs are invited to participate in this private group. We created this group in order to connect with like-minded local families online and face-to-face. Our aim is to create positive connections between families across the greater Geelong region. Our members share informal tips, lived experience, and support through virtual connections and face-to-face events. We look forward to welcoming you to the group.
The NDIS participant portal is called myplace.
It is a secure website portal on the Australian Government’s myGov website where you or a person you trust (a nominee or child representative) can access your NDIS information.
Through myplace, you can: see your current plan and previous plans; see messages from the NDIS; create and view payment requests; create and manage service bookings; upload documents, including assessments or service agreements; share your plan, or parts of your plan, with your service providers; and find service providers.
