Happy Birthday to MyKind Autism Services!

We celebrate MyKind Autism Service's birthday in October.  This has been a big year for us as we've navigated some significant changes and growth opportunities.  This year we're celebrating:

  • A NEW venue.  Come visit us at 2/396 LaTrobe Terrace, Newtown

  • A NEW customer relationship management system

  • Adding a new teammate and promoting a teammate to Team Leadership

  • Strengthening our relationships with mainstream supports including but not limited to: MeLi, Orange Door, SAFV Centre, and the Department of Fairness, Families and Housing (DFFH

  • Our social media presence and website development

  • Membership of Disability Intermediaries Australia, the peak body for Plan Managers and Support Coordinators

  • Quality assurance through external supervision

  • Support for safe spaces and community inclusion via the 'Welcome Here' movement 

  • Community partnerships with a number of strength-based, trauma informed, neuro-affirming therapeutic professionals in our region

  • Sponsorship of Geelong Carers Connect, a local volunteer run Parent & Carer group

  • and more...

I am proud of the MyKind Autism Services team for demonstrating strength, patience, compassion, acceptance, inclusion, and creativity throughout the past 12 months.  We enjoy opportunities to collaborate with so many beautiful families and professionals in the greater Geelong region.
